NTU Tempest shooked Moosettesz in the opening period, managing the first goal against the defending champions in this season's Floorball Cup. They even had more chances which could have caused an upset victory, but in the end, Moosettesz were able to showcase their superiority by running out 8-2 winners.
2:00pm NUS Jupitans vs MS OSB Owls 0 - 11 (LSF2)
MS OSB Owls had come away with a 13-2 win over NUS Titans the previous week, and were odds-on favourite to repeat another victory over sister team NUS Jupitans. The Owls' Angela Model had a relatively quiet match, as compared to her debut 4-goal feat over the Titans. However, Debbie Poh was able to step into her shoes to shoot in 5 goals, as Owls recorded another 11-goal margin victory.
SC Red Flamingoes managed to edge out NUS Nemesis in this pulsating encounter. NUS Nemesis clawed its way back from 2-4 down to equalise at 4-4, but were hit by the sucker punch when a swift counter attack by the Flamingoes ended in the winning goal, just as we thought that the match could be decided by a penalty shootout.
6:00pm Moosemen vs Genesis ITE 7 - 5 (MSF2)
In this intriguing encounter between Moosemen and a team led by some ex-Moosemen, Moosemen proved that Genesis ITE were just the young pretenders. However, they were given a rough ride, and Genesis ITE showed that they will be a force to reckon with in the Division 1 League next season.
