| Sat, 8 Jan 05 Millennia Skools Innebandy vs NUS Saints (NUS, 4pm) Last year's Conference Champions go up against a team which narrowly avoided relegation to Division 2. It should be a win for MS Innebandy but they will have to watch out for early season jitters. NTU Hurricanes vs Nhac Tre No.1 (NTU, 4pm) A new-look Nhac Tre No.1 team, bolstered by several transfers and new players to cover the loss of others, should be good enough to see them beat NTU Hurricanes. NTU Tempest vs NUS Jupitans (NTU, 2pm) NTU Tempest should do well this season, with some players maturing into key influential figures in the team. NUS Jupitans should give them a good fight though. NUS Titans vs United World College (UWC, 2pm) NUS Titans, the Conference Champions from last year, take on debutantes, United World College in the first league match to be played at the UWC premises. The Titans should prevail with their greater experience. |

| Sun, 9 Jan 05 Millennia Skools OSB vs Tazsilian Arowana (MI, 2pm) Arowana has lost several of their key players. It remains to be seen whether these losses will affect them, as they take on MS OSB, which will welcome the return of former top scorer Muhd Shahmeer to their fold, after a season with Moosemen. Tazsilian Piranha vs Millennia Skools Floorball (MI, 4pm) Newly-promoted Piranha will take on a new-look MS Floorball team, which has lost several key players from last year's team (Pasi Karjalainen, Calvin Tan, Pierre Boudville, and the late John Lim), which lost in the Play-Offs Final. The last time, these 2 teams met in February 2003, it resulted in a whopping 32-1 win for MS Floorball, the record high score in the history of the SFL. Moosemen vs Pasirian Floorball (MI, 6pm) The other newly-promoted team Pasirian Floorball will face the might of Moosemen in their debut in the top flight. Pasirian Floorball has lost its key player from last year, Joseph Cortes, who will ironically face them in this match as he will play for Moosemen this season. Moosemen are heavily favoured to win, although Pasirian Floorball has had some fine results in their pre-season friendlies. NUS Nemesis vs Swiss Club Red Flamingoes (NUS, 2pm) Defending Champions, Swiss Club Red Flamingoes, will again be the team to beat this season. NUS Nemesis will find it difficult against the Flamingoes. Swiss Club Pink Flamingoes vs Moosettesz (TSH, 4pm) Moosettesz defend their title with an opening fixture against Swiss Club Pink Flamingoes. Difficult to see any other result except for a Moosettesz win, but it will be interesting to see how much the Pink Flamingoes have developed since their encouraging season last year. Republic Polytechnic vs Singapore Management University (TSH, 6pm) 2 new teams face-off against each other. SMU had impressed during the IIVP and should take this match. FC Squirrettes vs Millennia Skools Floorball Youth (MI, 10am) FC Squirrettes open their debut season with an interesting clash against MS Floorball Youth, who only managed one draw last season. A result which could go either way. Millennia Skools OSB Owls vs Pasirian Floorball Ladies (MI, 12nn) The Owls, with their greater experience, should be able to beat the new Pasirian Floorbal Ladies team. More interesting would be to see whether the Owls will continue to pose a threat to the other top teams this season. |
