Wed, 16 Mar 05 United World College vs Moosettesz (UWC, 6.30pm) A record 0-38 hammering from MS OSB Owls on Sunday, followed by a walkover to MS Floorball Youth on Monday do not seem to be a happy ending to UWC's debutante season. It can hardly get worse with a last match against defending champions Moosettesz.

Sat, 19 Mar 05 NTU Hurricanes vs Moosemen (NTU, 4pm) Moosemen can celebrate winning the Western Conference title with a win over last-placed Western Conference side NTU Hurricanes. Will NTU Hurricanes' preparations for next month's relegation play-off be hampered by the coming NTU exams? NTU Tempest vs Millennia Skools OSB Owls (NTU, 2pm) One of a string of interesting matches this final weekend before the play-offs. This one will decide the Western Conference title. The Owls only need a draw after last week's emphatic 38-0 drubbing of UWC left them way ahead of NTU Tempest on goal difference. The NTU Tempest defence is of course made of sterner stuff, and the attack cannot be underestimated either. The Owls may not give a hoot to NTU Tempest's home advantage, but may be blown away by NTU Tempest's fighting qualities. Singapore Management University vs NUS Jupitans (NUS, 2pm) SMU need a big margin of victory and a big loss by MS Floorball Youth to Pasirian Floorball Ladies to qualify for the play-offs on goal difference. It is not likely to happen though. NUS Jupitans have already assured themselves of the runners-up position in the Eastern Conference, and will want to prove to their university rivals that they thoroughly deserve the tag. FC Squirrettes vs NUS TItans (NUS, 4pm) NUS Titans will be going for a win but will hope that MS OSB Owls beat NTU Tempest to allow them to leapfrog over NTU Tempest to claim the runners-up position in the Western Conference on goal difference. This will in turn allow them to avoid a quarter-final play-off with sister team NUS Jupitans to keep alive the hope of 2 NUS teams in the top 4.

Sun, 20 Mar 05 Tazsilian Piranha vs NUS Nemesis (NUS, 12nn) Tazsilian Piranha have already qualified for the play-offs. NUS Nemesis have as good as qualified. They will only be eliminated on goal difference in the unlikely event that they get thrashed by more than 12 goals by Piranha and MS OSB get edged out by MS Innebandy. The key interest is therefore more on victory to get an easier play-off match-up in the quarter-finals, that is, avoid the big 2 in the Eastern Conference. NUS Saints vs Swiss Club Red Flamingoes (NUS, 2pm) NUS Saints need a draw to qualify for the quarter-final play-offs. Swiss Club Red Flamingoes need a draw to win the Eastern Conference title. However, the Flamingoes will be keen to preserve their 100% record since the 2004 season, and finish the league season as Eastern Conference champions in style. Millennia Skools Floorball vs Nhac Tre No.1 (MI, 12nn) The 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the Eastern Conference meet but the gulf in standards is quite obvious. Nhac Tre No.1 should be able to handle MS Floorball with some comfort. Former MS Floorball players, Calvin Tan and Pasi Karjalainen, renew acquaintances with their former team-mates. Pasirian Floorball vs Tazsilian Arowana (MI, 2pm) This will be a cup final of sorts as the winner will qualify for the quarter-final play-offs, while the loser will face the other dreaded play-off against relegation. A draw could be enough for Pasirian Floorball if NUS Saints lose to Swiss Club Red Flamingoes, while Tazsilian Arowana definitely need a win to survive. Millennia Skools OSB vs Millennia Skools Innebandy (MI, 4pm) Realistically, only one of these teams will qualify for the quarter-final play-offs. MS OSB only need a draw to do so, while MS Innebandy needs victory. Both teams are of equal strength and the result will be a close affair. Pasirian Floorball Ladies vs Millennia Skools Floorball Youth (MI, 10am) MS Floorball Youth need a victory to leapfrog over Pasirian Floorball Ladies and take 3rd placing in the Eastern Conference. Pasirian Floorball Ladies only need a draw. MS Floorball Youth will be keen to avoid a heavy defeat as that would leave the small chance of SMU qualifying instead if they upset NUS Jupitans. RP Adroits vs Swiss Club Pink Flamingoes (TSH, 6pm) 4 consecutive wins have propelled Swiss Club Pink Flamingoes into 4th place and the quarter-final play-offs. They should be able to make it 5 in a row. RP Adroits should be content with quite a promising first season for them, and come back stronger next year.
