10am  NUS Nemesis vs Genesis ITE
Western Conference leaders Genesis ITE have a chance to stake a claim as serious contenders for the title, with its first match against a top team this season.  NUS Nemesis will be no pushover, and a win will see them climb over Genesis ITE in the Western Conference table.  Genesis ITE could finally find its nemesis this season, and this could spell the genesis of a slide, with tough matches to follow against Millennia Skools Innebandy and Nhac Tre No.1.
12nn   NUS Saints  vs Pasirian Hitmen
Pasirian Hitmen should be able to repeat their easy victory over NUS Saints from last season.  NUS Saints have a big problem in the scoring stakes, and the greater speed and skill of the young Pasirian Hitmen should be enough to quell the efforts of the hardworking NUS Saints team.
SFL2005 Result:  NUS Saints  0  Pasirian Floorball 5  (23 Jan 05)
2pm    Moosettesz vs NUS Jupitans
The odds are on that NUS Jupitans will continue with its poor run of results this week.  After dropping points to Pasirian Scheqaz in a 2-2 draw, last week's defeat to Motorola Pink Flamingoes should be followed by a heavy defeat to the high scoring Moosettesz, which will probably hit well into double figures.
SFL2005 Result:  Moosettesz  5  NUS Jupitans  1   (23 Jan 05)
4pm    Millennia Skools Salibandy vs Tazsilian Piranha
Both teams have one victory to their name this season, and this match will probably be as close as last season's encounter which resulted in a narrow 4-3 win by Piranha.  Will Tazsilian Piranha be hit by the absence of key players observing Thaipusam?  Any such absence will hit them hard, as MS Salibandy look capable of getting a win.
SFL2005 Result:  Millennia Skools OSB  3  Tazsilian Piranha  4   (23 Jan 05)
6pm    Motorola Red Flamingoes vs Nhac Tre No.1
This repeat of last year's Play-Off Final would normally be the highlight match of the week, but with the continued absence of key player Kristian Olsson until possibly the play-offs, this match would appear to be an easy win for Motorola Red Flamingoes, to put them back on winning ways after last week's upset defeat to Moosemen.
SFL2005 Result:  Swiss Club Red Flamingoes  6  Nhac Tre No.1  2   (23 Jan 05)
                                 Swiss Club Red Flamingoes  4  Nhac Tre No.1  7  (17 Apr 05 - Play-Off Final)

8pm    Motorola Pink Flamingoes vs NTU Tempest
NTU Tempest may be top of the Western Conference, but they have had it relatively easy so far.  This is a tougher match for them this week, as Motorola Pink Flamingoes are very capable of causing an upset, having already accounted for NUS Jupitans last week.  NTU Tempest will have to keep top scoring  Flamingo Serene Tan quiet if they hope to maintain its 100% win record this season.
SFL2005 Result:  Swiss Club Pink Flamingoes  0  NTU Tempest  6   (22 Jan 05)

10am  United World College vs Pasirian Scheqaz
With league top scorer Rebecca Gaughan scoring all 8 of United World College's goals last week, Pasirian Scheqaz will know who is the dangerperson to mark out of the game.  UWC's weak defence should let in quite a number of goals, and this match could end up as a high-scoring affair.
SFL2005 Result:  United World College  3  Pasirian Floorball Ladies  14  (22 Jan 05)
12nn   FC Squirrettes vs RP Adroits
Finally, a good chance for both teams to finally get their first points of the season.  This battle of the cellar occupiers of the Western Conference could well be devoid of floorball finesse, but will generate a lot of excitement among their supporters.
SFL2005 Result: FC Squirrettes  8  RP Adroits  5  (23 Jan 05)
2pm    Merahan Knights vs Millennia Skools Floorball
Merahan Knights finally get a match in which they stand a chance of winning.  After 4 tough opening matches in their debut season in Division 1, the youngsters will come up against the oldies from Millennia Skools Floorball, who had a flattering 6-1 win over Millennia Skools Salibandy last week.  The pace of the Merahan Knights might prove too much for MS Floorball to handle, but MS Floorball may yet spring another surprise again this week.
4pm    Millennia Skools Floorball Youth vs NTU Storm
Millennia Skools Floorball Youth put up a tough resistance to the senior NTU Tempest team, coming back from 0-2 down to equalise at 2-2, before finally succumbing 2-4.  They now meet the more inexperienced NTU Storm, and if they put up the same level of play, can expect their first points of the season.
6pm    Millennia Skools Innebandy vs Moosemen
This is the Match of the Week, which will have a great say in the Western Conference title.  A win by Moosemen will virtually hand them the title, after last week's upset win over Motorola Red Flamingoes.  This match will also decide which is the best local men's team in the league.  With both teams highly capable of scoring, this match will be an exciting affair with promise of lots of goalmouth action.
SFL2005 Result:  Millennia Skools Innebandy  2  Moosemen  12   (23 Jan 05)
8pm    Tampines East Titans vs Millennia Skools OSB Owls
This is a crucial match for both teams as the Western Conference title is at stake, with the winners of this match taking a huge step towards that goal.  Millennia Skools OSB Owls have the greater firepower as well as the better defence, and so are the favourites to take the match.  The league encounter last season ended in a close 5-4 win for the Owls, but the Pesta Sukan Quarter-Finals on 3 Sep 05 saw the Owls romp to a 13-2 thrashing.
SFL2005 Result:  NUS Titans  4  Millennia Skools OSB Owls  5   (23 Jan 05)
