Based on last season's performances, NTU Tempest should have an easy opening match. FC Squirrettes depended a lot on their Malaysian players, and it will be interesting to see their line-up for this season. NTU Tempest have matured in their play ove the past year and now have several experienced players to guide the team forward.

12nn Motorola Red Flamingoes vs Pasirian Hitmen
A change in name for both teams, but probably no change in the result at the end of this match-up. Motorola Red Flamingoes look to be too strong for Pasirian Hitmen, although the new Hitmen would have gained a lot of good experience from last year's debut season in the top flight.

2pm Moosettesz vs Pasirian Scheqaz
The newly-named Pasirian Scheqaz are off to a daunting start to the new season with a match-up against the all-conquering defending champions, Moosettesz. No bets on Moosettesz repeating their emphatic victory from last season.

4pm Tampines East Titans vs RP Adroits
Remember the Titans? They are no more known as NUS Titans as they now play under the new moniker Tampines East Titans. They should however retain a strong enough force to overcome RP Adroits, which managed only one victory in their debut season. This looks to be a more promising season for RP Adroits, but a second victory will not come from this match.

6pm Millennia Skools Innebandy vs Tazsilian Piranha
Last year's encounter ended in a draw, but Tazsilian Piranha, which may be weakened by the absence of some key players through full-time national service, will find it hard in this match. While MS Innebandy have been training regularly to maintain match sharpness, most of the Piranha team would have had a long lay-off from floorball. A match against the fast-passing quick-running MS Innebandy is not the best way to get back into shape.

8pm Genesis ITE vs Millennia Skools Salibandy
Newly-promoted Genesis ITE take on Millennia Skools Salibandy, previously known as Millennia Skools OSB. With its impressive display in the Pesta Sukan Cup last season, Genesis ITE will be favourites to record its opening victory in the top flight against a young MS Salibandy team which has lost most of its key players from last season.

10am NTU Storm vs United World College
NTU Storm, which qualified for this season's League via a play-off victory over SIM Ladies, have a good chance to record a debut victory in the top flight over United World College, who lost all their matches last season.
12nn Millennia Skools OSB Owls vs Motorola Pink Flamingoes
It was a narrow victory last season, but don't expect this encounter to be close, as since then, MS OSB Owls have become a well-oiled scoring machine as seen in their Pesta Sukan Cup matches last season.

2pm Nhac Tre No.1 vs Merahan Knights
Nhac Tre No.1 open up their defence of their SFL title with a match against promoted Merahan Knights. The experience and size advantage of Nhac Tre No.1 should provide for an easy victory over the young and inexperienced Merahan Knights, who will find this match a tough baptism of fire.
4pm NUS Jupitans vs Millennia Skools Floorball Youth
NUS Jupitans should prove too strong for a raw MS Floorball Youth team, with several players making their competitive debuts. However, MS Floorball Youth will give a good fight until the very end, and will be relying on its defence to keep them in the game.

6pm Moosemen vs NUS Nemesis
This is the Match of the Week, with Moosemen opening up its Conference title defence against a strong NUS Nemesis team. Moosemen appear to be the favourites for this match, but will not appreciate NUS Nemesis' hard running and tackling style which will not allow them time on the ball. They should be able to counter some of it through some slick quick passing, especially between twin forwards Joshua Brown and Lionel Sing.

8pm Millennia Skools Floorball vs NUS Saints
This match could go either way. A new-look MS Floorball team will take on an improving NUS Saints team which has improved over the course of last season. With a more experienced team this season, NUS Saints will be aiming to cause a few upsets, starting with this match against an ageing MS Floorball team, who seem to have seen their best days.
