Motorola Pink Flamingoes will want to forget their last match when they were beaten 0-6 by LMFC2011 to end their title hopes. NUS Jupitans themselves will want to bounce back from 3 straight defeats. Flamingoes look like having the edge due to Jupitans' poor scoring record.

2:00pm Tampines East Titans vs Pasirian Scheqaz
Tampines East Titans will be gunning for their 4th win on the trot. Pasirian Scheqaz have lost their last 2 matches, including a morale-sapping loss to RP Adroits. Titans, with 4 players back from the Japan A-Division qualifier trip, will be favourites for a win.

4:00pm Skools OSB Owls vs LMFC2011
This is the Ladies' Match of the Season, which is virtually the Final due to the absence of play-offs this year. It could be a very high scoring match, with the winners virtually assured of the title of SFL2007 Division 1 champions, even at this half-way point of the season. LMFC2011 are heavily reliant on Jill Quek, who has scored the majority of their goals this season, while Owls have a lot more people to spread the responsibility of scoring and stopping goals. It could all boil down to the form of the 2 keepers, and of course the shooters, but LMFC2011 will definitely be in for a rough ride.

6:00pm NUS Nemesis vs Nhac Tre No.1
Nhac Tre No.1 laboured to a 4-0 win over RP Salibandy in their last match, with a number of their players suffering from a hangover from the previous night's exertions. A similar performance will be fatal against a resurgent NUS Nemesis team, which upset then league leaders Motorola Red Flamingoes 7-5, and will be aiming for another scalp in the form of the current league leaders. Nemesis thrashed Nhac Tre 10-2 last season, so another upset should not be ruled out.

8:00pm RP Salibandy vs Merahans Knights
Merahans Knights have been steadily moving up the table, since their opening 2 losses, and should continue their movement up with another win over RP Salibandy, whose only win came against NTU Hurricane. Merahans could move into the top 3 after this weekend's matches.

RP Adroits have the chance to notch up another win that may take them into the top half of the table. Against a weak United World College team which have yet to manage a point this season, RP may be having a stroll of a time and avenge last year's 4-8 defeat.

12:00nn Team Taz vs NTU Hurricane
In their last match against Skools Floorball, there was a rare sight of Team Taz having more players on the bench than their opponents. With perhaps the suspended Jatin Nair the only person missing then, Team Taz rolled to an easy 7-3 win. They should have it their way again this week when they take on table proppers NTU Hurricane who have yet to win this season.

2:00pm Skools Innebandy vs Pasirian Hitmen
Pasirian Hitmen made a good comeback against Moosemen in their last match but were unable to force a draw, eventually succumbing 5-6. Skools Innebandy meanwhile struggled to a 8-1 win over NTU Hurricane after a third period 6-goal onslaught. Pasirian Hitmen should pose a few problems, but Skools Innebandy should be too strong for them.

4:00pm NTU Tempest vs Skools OSB Youth
Skools OSB Youth have chalked up 2 consecutive wins to ease their relegation fears, but should find NTU Tempest too strong for them this week. Tempest could even move into the top 2 if they manage a big win.

6:00pm TP Wolves vs Skools Floorball
Skools Floorball have a chance to win again after 2 straight losses against a TP Wolves team who have suffered even more losses - 4 - since their maiden win over RP Salibandy in their debut match in Division 1. Since then, TP Wolves have managed to score only 1 goal. They will be hoping to increase that tally against a Skools Floorball team that has shipped in 21 goals in their last 2 matches.

8:00pm Moosemen vs Motorola Red Flamingoes
Together with the ladies' match between Owls and LMFC2011, this is the Match of the Week. Both teams are locked on 12 points near the top of the table. Flamingoes were brought crashing to the ground when they were beaten 5-7 by NUS Nemesis last time around. Another loss to Moosemen this week would kill off their title hopes. Moosemen also cannot afford a defeat, especially with a crunch tie against Skools Innebandy the following week. Moosemen, with their greater experience, will start off as favourites, but the youthful exuberance of Flamingoes will give them a good run for their money. A draw cannot be ruled out.
