4:00pm Tampines East Titans vs RP Adroits
The opening match of the SFL2007 season pits Tampines East Titans against RP Adroits. The Titans have emerged as one of the favourites this season to challenge the supremacy of the now-renamed LMFC2011. With former Moosettesz Seah Joo Yee returning to her previous team, and with the recruitment of Emily Koh from the Owls, the Titans have increased their firepower. RP Adroits have a difficult match to start the season and will be hoping to restrict the Titans score to a single digit.

6:00pm LMFC2011 vs Pasirian Scheqaz
This is the first chance for us to see the new LMFC2011 this season and see what credentials they have to continue Moosettesz' winning streak in the league. The former Moosettesz never ever lost a league match except when they played each other as Mooseetesz I and Moosettesz II several seasons ago. Whether LMFC2011 can maintain this record the whole season will only be clearer after this match, and Pasirian Scheqaz may provide stiff opposition.

8:00pm Skools Innebandy vs Team Taz
Team Taz has regrouped itself by recalling some of their former players to lend experience to a youthful team. Skools Innebandy are raring to go again this season. Skools Innebandy actually met the reformed Team Taz in the Pesta Sukan Cup last season where they had to struggle for a 3-2 victory. It could therefore be a close match, although Innebandy will start favourites.

9:30am NTU Tempest vs FC Squirrettes
NTU Tempest will open its 2007 campaign against FC Squirrettes again. In fact, the first 2 weeks of the season are like a deja vu of last season, with the same set of matches except for the promoted teams. NTU Tempest will hope to repeat its easy victory last season. Unless FC Squirrettes have somehow beefed up its power, it looks likely to be the case.

11:30am NTU Storm vs United World College
NTU Storm got off its debut season last year with a comfortable 10-4 win over UWC. However, this is a new season, and the level of play for both teams is currently unknown. It could play a part in deciding who gets relegated even at this early stage of the season, as it is a must-win match.

1:30pm Skools Floorball vs NTU Hurricane
Skools Floorball will field several new players in its line-up as they seek an opening day victory against last season's Division 2 runner-up NTU Hurricane. NTU Hurricane will have plenty of match practice recently with the recent NTU Spree and ongoing IVP Championships, whereas Skools Floorball will hardly have played together as a full team. It looks like a very close fight, with NTU Hurricane enjoying home ground advantage and support.

3:30pm Skools OSB Owls vs Motorola Pink Flamingoes
This is an interesting opening fixture for both teams. The Owls will come up against one of their own key players last season in Angela Model. It won't be the first time, as Flamingoes came up tops in the Pesta Sukan Cup Semi-Finals. The Owls cannot be ruled out though, and they will be out to make sure that their campaign to overhaul LMFC2011 goes off to a flying start. It looks like a very close match indeed in this clash between the Owls and Flamingoes, and we will see who comes out crowing.

12:00nn Motorola Red Flamingoes vs Pasirian Hitmen
It will be interesting to see what kind of challenge Motorola Red Flamingoes will pose this season. It will be mostly a youthful Flamingoes team which will go against an equally youthful Pasirian Hitmen team. However, Pasirian Hitmen have gained invaluable Division 1 experience while many of the young Flamingoes only played at Division 2 level. Pasirian Hitmen will be marshalled in defence by the ever-reliable Md Hadi Hassan, who could be the key player in deciding the outcome of this match.

2:00pm Nhac Tre No.1 vs Merahans Knights
Defending champions Nhac Tre No.1 start their campaign with a match against the young and energetic Merahans Knights, who were the surprise team of last season. Nhac Tre No.1's line-up this season is still a mystery, with several key players from last season no longer playing this season. Some of the key players from Merahans Knights would have gained invaluable international experience from the recent APAC Floorball Championships. It could be the same close match that we had last year.

4:00pm NUS Jupitans vs Skools OSB Youth
NUS Jupitans should get off to a comfortable start in their 2007 campaign with a match against Skools OSB Youth. Jupitans will be fresh from their preparations for the IVP, while OSB Youth will be lacking in match practice.

The Match of the Week. The new-look Moosemen will start off as favourites against the ever-dangerous NUS Nemesis. It will be a tough match and a very close result is expected.

8:00pm RP Salibandy vs TP Wolves
Division 2 Champions TP Wolves start their debut Division 1 season with a match against RP Salibandy who managed to retain their Division 1 status by beating Tampines East Knights 6-1 in the play-off. TP Wolves will be missing their star player Santeri Rantala who will be playing for Nhac Tre No.1, so it will be interesting to see how they cope without his scoring touch. At least they face an opening opponent of similar standard, so a debut win could be on the cards.
