12:00nn Z-Athletica Red Flamingoes vs NUS Saints
Both ZARF and NUS Saints are on perfectly opposite sides. While ZARF have a 100% win record, NUS Saints have 2 defeats from last week's opening weekend. Both 100% records appear to be on course after this match.

2:00pm NTU Tempest vs NUS Jupitans
NTU Tempest have probably lost its 2 most key players in keeper Widyawilis Selamat and defender Lily Suriani Tan. How they manage to cope without them is anyone's guess. My guess is that they will miss them a lot, and against NUS Jupitans, this could start to show immediately.

4:00pm NUS Nemesis vs Singapore School Boys
Both teams lost their opening 2 matches, including a shock defeat by NUS Nemesis to Nhac Tre, despite dominating proceedings. NUS Nemesis will want to make this right and prevent a repeat of last season when they lost their opening 3 matches. Singapore School Boys will find the going tough.

6:00pm Pasirian Scheqaz vs NUS Titans
NUS Titans will start their quest for the title with a tough match against Pasirian Scheqaz, which will include new signing Angela Model. Titans will be weakened by the loss of Emily Koh from last season, but as a team should prove too strong for Pasirian Scheqaz unless Angela has a big say.

8:00pm Pasirian Hitmen vs Skools Innebandy
This is the Match of the Week. Pasirian Hitmen have impressed in their opening 2 matches. Skools Innebandy have impressed even more. However, Hitmen will provide more firepower than last week's opponents NTU Hurricanes and NUS Nemesis (missing the influential Kenny Tan). The keepers from both teams will be in for a tough workout, but Skools Innebandy should prevail.

10:00am Singapore School Girls vs FC Squirrettes
FC Squirrettes did very well last year to stay in Division 1 and they now meet the newcomers Singapore School Girls, which will be a vastly changed side from last season's Division 2 championship team. Singapore School Girls may spring a surprise and record its maiden Division 1 win.

12:00nn RP Salibandy vs Moosemen
Moosemen recorded 2 wins last week, including a scrappy 5-4 result over Nhac Tre. RP Salibandy had mixed results with a win and loss, but definitely disappointed with their performances. Against an ageing Moosemen side, it could hope to perform better. However, that may not be enough against the experienced maestros, who will be strengthened this week with players missing from last weekend.

2:00pm Z-Athletica Pink Flamingoes vs Skools OSB Owls
The 2 teams of the feathered variety meet in their opening match, just like last year. Flamingoes have however lost key players from last year, including the influential Angela Model, while Skools OSB Owls have strengthened themselves with the recruitment of Widyawilis Selamat and Lily Suriani Tan.

4:00pm NTU Hurricanes vs Blacks FC
This is a crucial fixture for both teams as it could have an impact on the relegation battle even at this early stage of the season. NTU Hurricanes came from behind last week to sweep to an upset win over NUS Saints, while Blacks FC showed great fighting spirit, but succumbed in the later stages of their match against Merahans. Despite this being their debut season in Division 1, Blacks boast several experienced players, including ex-national players. A first win for them could be expected.

6:00pm LMFC2011 vs Skools OSB Youth
A new look LMFC2011 team without the talismanic Jill Quek will take on the never-say-die Skools OSB Youth. LMFC2011 should manage a win but they will have a tough fight on their hands.

8:00pm Nhac Tre vs Merahans
Merahans had 2 impressive victories last week, while the performances of Nhac Tre were disappointing as they lacked firepower and were defending for most of the time in both their matches. This lack of firepower as well as speed will show against the young and speedy Merahans, who should beat Nhac Tre quite easily, especially if the Nhac Tre turnout is as poor as last week's against Moosemen.
