The Singapore Floorball League 2008 (SFL2008) commenced in January 2008 with the Men's and Ladies' Division 1 leagues, which will run until April 2008. Catch all the action on the sfl2008 feature pages.
The Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) 2007/2008 Floorball Championships were held from 2 to 18 Jan 2008 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic. Participating teams were Nanyang Polytechnic, Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Institute of Management, Singapore Management University, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic. The Asia Pacific Floorball Championships 2007(apac 2007) for Men was held from 5 to 9 Dec 2007 in Singapore at the Woodlands Sports Hall. The Ladies category was not competed due to poor response. For the Men, Singapore (2), Australia (2), Japan (2), Korea and Malaysia participated, with Singapore A claiming the the APAC 2007 title with a 7-3 win over Korea in the Final. The Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) held its General Assembly at the Woodlands Sports Hall in Singapore on Thursday, 6 Dec 07. A new Central Board was also elected at the General Assembly with the following composition:

The Singapore Floorball League 2007 Division 2 & 3 for Men and Division 2 Ladies were held from Jul to Sep 2007. The venues included Tampines Sports Hall, Temasek Polytecnic, Republic Polytechnic, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. Check out the schedule and results.
The Pesta Sukan Floorball Cup 2007 Ladies' Open category was played on 18 & 19 Aug 2007 at the multi-purpose hall of Republic Polytechnic. Congratulations to Skools OSB Owls for emerging as champions.

The World Floorball Championships will be moved from its usual slot in May to the second week of December from 2008 onwards. With this change, the WFC2008 will now be played in the Czech Republic in December 2008. As part of the change, the annual Under-19 World Floorball Championships will now be held in May from 2008, with the Women's U-19 to be held in Switzerland in May 2008.
